Smart Energy People & Commerce

Electricity, automotive, air and sea transport are all necessary for our economy to survive, much less thrive. We must find energy sources to support them. We need to catalyze a smart energy transition and new energy breakthroughs. We need a transition strategy that takes account of real, current energy needs and creates a bridge to a more sustainable energy future.

The Questions We Must Ask

Patent pooling and cross-license have developed numerous technological breakthroughs. NMB has referred to this concept PROTECT (patent-pooling reinforcement for transformative environmental and clean technologies). The purpose of PROTECT is to get the best scientists, engineers and inventors working together on renewable energy breakthroughs as well as protect the interests of corporations that invest in this crucial R&D and sharing the royalties on a pro rate basis.

Energy price, availability and unpredictability are the new normal.

Energy is needed for water and food production and delivery.

We have to begin viewing our individual actions as the individual sector of energy efficiency. We are a renewable energy resource.

”The good news is that a new cast of characters is shaking up the energy sector in both the public and private arenas, and these people are excited to claim better energy habits than previous generations.”
